I have always been interested in images and how light can reflect a mood or
a moment in time. I started my career as a photographer shooting film in
my world travels from 1997 through 2001, and had my first gallery show in
2002. I discovered I had the ability to stand back and observe, and to use
shadow and light to my advantage. I spent the next years honing my craft
inside the classroom and out, with the help of family and friends willing to
pose for me.
Although I still have my film camera I shoot digital, and take photographs
both in my home studio and on location. Having been engaged, married,
pregnant and now part a family, I appreciate all my clients’ needs, wants
and expectations in all of these stages of life. I listen to my clients and work
with them to make sure they are happy. I am a full-time photographer and
have been for several years. Nothing is more important to me than you and
your session. I appreciate each and every one of my clients and strive to
make each session a fun, stress-free experience.
I see beauty in many forms... from the love in a couple’s eyes on their
wedding day, to the glow of an expectant mother, and in the innocence of a
child.
I strive to capture these emotions in my work and present them in a unique,
personal way.
